1 · What we collect

When you sign up for MapleStack we collect the minimum data needed to give you a website: your email address, your chosen display name, the templates you pick, and the content you publish on your own site. Nothing more.

2 · Where we store it

All MapleStack infrastructure lives on servers physically located in Canada (Toronto and Vancouver data centres). Your data never leaves Canadian jurisdiction unless you explicitly export it.

3 · How we use it

We use your data only to operate your MapleStack site, send you transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts), and improve the platform with aggregate, de-identified analytics. We never sell or rent your data to third parties.

4 · Cookies

We use essential cookies for login and a small number of first-party analytics cookies to understand how the marketing site is used. There are no third-party trackers.

5 · Your rights under PIPEDA

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise this right, email privacy@maplestackapp.com and we will respond within 30 days, per PIPEDA requirements.

6 · Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Customer passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Our infrastructure is monitored 24/7 by Canadian engineers.

7 · Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we will email every active customer at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and re-display the updated policy on first login.
